Professional Lightroom Presets for Wedding Photographers

Six Professional Color Presets for Wedding Photographers from White In Revery. Introducing the Dolce Preset Collection.

SIX BEAUTIFUL COLOR PRESETS DESIGNED FOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS

The Dolce Photo Preset Collection was built in collaboration with Levi Tijerina Photography and was built together to create a consistent look that could translate between both photography and videography. The focus of these photo presets is to rely on simplicity and timelessness. They aren't over-engineered in an attempt to be a one-size-fits all. (In fact, there aren't any presets that will fit that bill) Instead, the Dolce Photo Presets are designed to be your go-to base layer. They're designed for crisp, clean whites; dynamic colors; cinematic context; and simple adjustments.

These presets are XMP files, which means they are calibrated to work with Lightroom CC and Adobe Camera RAW

We’ve created these presets to help your color grading process become simplified, less time consuming, and consistent, all while creating a high quality feel for your photographs.

Dolce 01

The preset is designed to work in nearly all situations and features warm skin tones, deep shadows, punchy blacks, and brighter highlights. When using this preset, it's important to know that this preset is developed for shooting underexposed. You will likely need to either shoot underexposed or drop your exposure on your images for the settings to look their best.

Pros: Great Skin Tones, Deep and Cinematic Blacks, Great Contrast

Cons: Requires Underexposure or adjusting the exposure

Dolce 02

The key for this preset is it's latitude for customization. This preset incorporates more color and is designed to be used in open shade, backlit, sunset, or with direct flash.

Pros: Versatile in all lighting conditions, simple

Cons: Can be too simple, which might bring one to keep tweaking it

Dolce 03

This preset is the deepest, most contrasty of the entire set. It's great for dramatic lighting situations or if you want to emphasize the depth of the blacks and shadows. If the shadows are blacks are too deep, it's a quick fix, just bring those colors up and you're back on level ground. Of course, the skin tones are still strong, and there is a gentle mix of cool and warmth in the highlights and shadows.

Pros: All around great color, great contest, depth, skin tones

Cons: darks can sometimes be too dark, less easy to tweak (aside from the shadows, which is easy)

Dolce 04

This bonus preset is designed for a variety of things—it's essentially a jack-of-all-trades...but master of none. I decided to include it because it can be really useful for setting a base and when it strikes, it strikes hard, but sometimes it can require more work out-of-the-box than other presets. It's designed to work in full and direct sunlight. There is a distinct level of magenta-warmth in both the highlights and shadows, which can help restore skin tones in harsh sunlight. With that, the shadows are greatly pulled back, so if you want to adapt it for a photo in shade or overcast light, simply drag the shadows down to about 0 and you'll have a slightly warm, well balanced preset

Pros: Incredibly precise in the right scenarios, great skin tones in harsh light

Cons: Highly specialized, not useable in every situation

Dolce 05

Punchy without being overwhelming; elegant without feeling forced. This preset increase the overall brightness of an image and results in a punchier photo with the focus being brought to the subject due to the highs/lows of the black and whites.

Pros: Works great for a brighter photo or for drawing attention to the subject, well balanced, very little modification other than exposure

Cons: May need to bring down expouse

DOLCE 06

The key for this preset is it's latitude for customization. This preset highlights a reduced saturation in green and also a flatter, but malleable highlight of the midtones, which means that the skin and environmental texture can be adjusted for mood and feeling based on the lighting.

Pros: Different, Specialized, Dynamic, Signature Look

Cons: Highly unique, highlights can sometimes be too crushed

THIS PRESET COLLECTION IS DESIGNED TO HELP YOU TAKE YOUR PHOTOS TO THE NEXT LEVEL AND TO HELP YOU CREATE A CONSISTENT LOOK AND FEEL ACROSS YOUR EDITING THAT IS GUIDED BY TRUE-TO-LIFE EDITS AND WARM SKIN TONES.
