“They say that at the end of our lives, all we have are our memories. Glimpses of our past – the good and the bad, the beautiful and the hard. Sometimes it’s the small details. Sometimes it’s the big moments.
We close our eyes and replay these, accessing when we get a quiet moment. Memories of a friend, a family member. The sounds of your friends cheering you on. The words they said from their heart. Sometimes we’ll close our eyes and find these memories, but sometimes something sparks them. Sounds, smells, the way that the wind sounds when your windows are down. The way her hand reaches for yours when she wants to dance. A feeling, a flavor, a picture, a video.
These memories are precious. They make us who we are. And as the years pass and more memories are made we know it can be easy for these precious memories to start to get quieter in our minds. For most, a wedding is one of the biggest opportunities for preserving memories. It’s why we do what we do.”
We just hit our 10 year anniversary of filming weddings and have never created a demo reel before... until now! This "legacy" reel spans films all the way back to 6 years ago that encompasses some of our favorite moments. Unlike a demo reel, this legacy reel has moments that have a lot of meaning to us that might not be our best visually pleasing content, but has a deep powerful backstory that means a lot to us personally.
